Linn has decided to take on a limited number of individuals for a 30 Day Shadow Program and teach them as much as possible about canine psychology and what he has learned from Cesar Millan. These will be long days that include a walk with his pack nearly every day. The most important ingredient in fulfilling a dog is leading it on a long journey. Being physically and mentally fit to do so is a must for this program. In addition to the topics listed as the workshop curriculum, students will watch Linn during his consultations with clients and their dogs, deal with dogs at the dog park, constantly observe canine behavior, as well as have question and answer sessions and written exams during most of your training. You will learn dog's facial expressions and body language such as panic, fear, anxiety and aggression triggers. You will be immersed in the world of canine psychology for a full 30 days. You will work with dogs at Linn’s center. Linn will discuss his own process, his strengths and weaknesses and how it has affected his own work with dogs. He will help you with a self-evaluation of your own past and present and how it affects your work with humans and dogs.
Linn’s consultations vary widely from aggressive to fearful dogs, issues with obsessions, dogs that are never walked, separation anxiety and many of the other issues that are covered in Cesar's TV show. You will learn how to walk a pack of dogs and get a dog on and off a treadmill correctly. You will learn the basics of Linn’s consultations and will discuss human psychology and dealing with your human clients as well.
For the first six months after the Shadow program you will be required to offer your new services to your favorite rescue group and share leadership with new adoptive owners. These will be videotaped and sent to ZEN4K9S for critique and evaluation. You may send weekly videos to Linn for his appraisal. In reality, this program is seven months long; a full month of direct teaching and an additional six months of personal mentoring.
